So this week, I did a little better, all things considered. The Kynetic novella is now 12,170 words long. And I’m having a lot of fun writing it. Small problem: I want to cram a lot of stuff into this one. Gauntlet Goes to Prom was almost done at this point (it’s only about 17,000 words long). I’m thinking this one might double before I’m done. But it’s all good.
I am a little worried, though. Next Wednesday is Ash Wednesday, which is the beginning of Lent. Lots more work, a lot less time to write. So I’m feeling the pinch a bit.

I’m hoping to observe Lent for the first time this year by giving up blog reading and commenting. I love the blogs I read, but I need discipline, and I’ve been depending on blog content to satisfy my emotional emptiness. So, I’ll have to catch up with you after Easter. 😉
