So, true confession time, my wife and I are kind of opposites when it comes to our taste in movies. As you can probably guess, I’m into all things geeky and sci-fi and fantasy. For my wife, not so much. She was shocked when we were dating when I admitted that I had not seen a lot of the classic ’80s teen movies, the kind directed by John Hughes.
In the end, I actually feel bad for her because she lives in a house with an über-geek and two geeks-in-training, but that’s another story for another time.
But then I saw these sketches by a guy named Denis Medri, and I think we found a way to bridge the gap.
What if Star Wars had been an ’80s teen movie? Well, here’s Medri’s interpretation.
I particularly like the “Who’s Your Daddy?” one. Which one do you like best?
